The bridge was built on the Bend-i Mahi Stream on the pristine Erciş-Tabriz caravan route. Although there is no inscription regarding the bridge's construction, it was built by the Ilkhanid rulers at the end of the 13th century. Two-colored smooth face stone masonry can be seen on the arches and walls of the bridge. Throughout history, walls made of rubble stone were also attached during the repairs. Today, it remains away from the main road and settlements.
