Edremit Maiden's Castle with a history of approximately 3 thousand years, was used as a place of votive and altar by the Urartian civilization, as it is on a hill overlooking the region, and was acknowledged as a sacred area where various ceremonies were held and the Urartian kings were crowned. Edremit Maiden's Castle awaits its local and foreign visitors as a panoramic viewing platform where the unique view of Lake Van can be enjoyed. Access to view hill is provided by Edremit-TOKİ minibuses located in the city center.
