According to the epigraph on the upper floor entrance gate of the cupola located in Vanyolu District, it was built by the great Emir Rüstem Bey during the reign of Karakoyunlu ruler Cihanşah for Emir Yar Ali, Shah Mustafa, Shah Şevik, Shah Ali and their mother Kadem Paşa Hatun in Hijri 863 (Gregorian 1458). The two-storey, dodecagonal body and pyramidal cone cupola was built with smooth face stone. It is in sound condition today. The cupola is located on the side of the road at the exit of Erciş district.
