Hüsrev Pasha Mosque

According to the epigraph on the entrance gate of the mosque, it was built by Van Governor Köse Hüsrev Pasha in 1567. It is named among the works of Mimar Sinan. Face stone was used on the walls of the structure, on the other hand, brick materials were used in the squinches and dome. The tile laying that covered the walls up to a certain height in the interior are not present today. The rectangular mihrab, which exhibits a neat workmanship made of limestone, has a five-sided niche with a recessed stalactite, crowned with a three-foiled arch.
